Helga completed a Bachelor’s degree in Law from the University of Iceland in 2013, a Master’s degree in International Law and the Settlement of Disputes from the United Nations mandated University for Peace in 2014 and is completing a Mag. Jur. degree at the University of Iceland in 2015. Helga is currently researching patentability requirements in Iceland with a grant from the Icelandic Student Innovation Fund.
